RENAULT FLUENCE – A Luxury Coupe for four

Fluence, Renault's latest concept car, is an upmarket, four-seater sports coupé. It was presented at the Louis Vuitton Classic concours d'élégance held for the first time at Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury instead of its traditional home of the Hurlingham Club in London.

When BMW bought the Dixi car works at Eisenach ( East Germany), they also acquired the license for the Austin Seven. They were soon building the "Wartburg" this sports car had a two-seater body and an 18 hp engine, which gained the first racing successes on four wheels for this Munich-based company.

LEXUS UNVEILS LUXURY SPORTS COUPE CONCEPT (LF-C)

Lexus introduced its third new concept design within a year when it unveiled the LF-C luxury sports coupe concept car at the New York International Auto Show. The LF series of concept vehicles are designed to define and launch an entirely new direction in styling for the Lexus brand. The LF-C provides a hint of the direction Lexus is considering for the next generation IS sports car. The surprise is provided by stylists from the Calty Design Research Centre in the form of a four-position retractable hardtop in the LF-C. The unique hardtop design allows the car to transform itself at the touch of a button from a coupe to a convertible, to a targa or to a speedster, depending on the driver’s mood. The powered top stows neatly into the trunk through a surprisingly minimal rear-deck opening.
